Meet Regina P. Howland
LMHC, NCC
Serving clients in-person in Spencerport, Rochester, Greece, Gates, Chili, Ogden, and Brockport, and virtually throughout New York State.

Hey! I’m Regina Howland. I’m a Licensed Mental Health Counselor and a National Certified Counselor.
I love counseling because I am ALL ABOUT personal growth. When I struggle with something, I search for answers by talking to an expert or checking out a resource to help feel more confident in that area.
When you get better at something you’ve struggled with for a long time, you feel so free that you want to help others get free also! I can be that guide for you, to help you out of that stuck place.
“When our lives are so full of stress and overwhelm, sometimes it’s hard to see the growth and strength underneath. Let me help you find that.”
– Regina Howland, LMHC, NCC
Meet Regina!
Dance: I’m a dancer – I got my undergrad in dance just bc I loved it so much and wanted to be professionally trained! I love modern and salsa and hip hop, etc.
Marriage & Family: I’ve been married to my best friend for over 26 yrs and we have 3 amazing, grown daughters – all blond and blue eyed just like me (LOL!) And we have one son – our fur baby – Oreo, who you might get to meet in my office, chillin’ and doin’ his thing. Being a mom has been one of the greatest experiences of my life.
Minimalism: I found minimalism over 10 yrs ago. I love it! My ADHD brain gets excited that the less stuff I have, the less stuff there is to clean and take care of. The less I have, the more I can focus on what’s really important (instead of being distracted by thoughts of what I haven’t yet done – the dishes, the laundry, etc). Because life is about the values that you hold and the work you do, not the socks you haven’t washed yet!
Faith: My faith is central in my life. Everything else is anchored to it. God is my Compass and His Word is my map, directing my life: decisions, concerns, etc.
Learning: My brain gets SO EXCITED to learn new things. And the good news is – it’s never going to run out of stuff to learn! I love to read non-fiction and fiction books. Lately I’ve been eating up Freida McFadden’s books!.
Your sessions are a safe place for you to just be you.
Our sessions will be like an oasis: a place to get refreshed and be yourself away from a chaotic world.
When you are in my office, you can be free to be your genuine self. It is a space that is non-judgmental, relaxed, and full of hope and inspiration. It’s also a space of growth, challenges, and a variety of emotions.
Therapy can be both those things. Sometimes you feel a release or feel seen maybe for the first time. And other times it might feel tough; a butterfly has to fight to get out of the chrysalis stage and a chick has to push to get out of its egg.
Those tasks were challenging alone, but I know we can overcome them together, helping you get to that place you’ve been wanting to get to for a long time.
